Todas suas reações, gestos, atitudes e agruras derivam destes instintos. Resta-nos compreender que agem desta forma, e agir de modo a ganhar sua confiança mostrando que suas chances de sobreviver são maiores ao nosso lado dentro de uma relação de cooperação do que fugindo de nós (caso dos cavalos) ou nos enfrentando (caso dos cães). Se conquistarmos este entedimento, teremos de imediato iniciado uma nova fase em nossos relacionamentos com estes seres fabulosos.

É isto que fazemos em nossa fazenda. Tanto nossos cavalos como nossos cães, tem seus instintos respeitados, e obviamente entendendo as formas distintas com as quais cavalos e cães lutam pela sobrevivência, buscamos desenvolver uma relação de confiança, alegria e liberdade com estes animais.

Os métodos e os conceitos são aqueles aprendidos com o mestre Monty Roberts, sem o qual nada disso seria possível. Serei eternamente grato e pretendo ainda aprender muito com Monty Roberts, para poder levar ao maior numero de pessoas a mensagem de que o relacionamento baseado na não-violência produz resultados muito mais rápidos, humanos, e eficazes no trato com os animais.
